Harley was born in 2003. We rescued him from the county animal shelter in November, 2005. Although the shelter staff told us he runs through doors, chases cars, and hates kids, none of it was true. His previous family taught him to give a high five with each paw and stand on his hind legs to ask for a treat.

Chula (aka Chula Monster) came to us through Basset Rescue from a family who had to give her up due to illness. Her birthday is August 7, 2000. She is a master manipulator, loves to chew on everything, and has made us better housekeepers as a result.

Lady Priscilla XXV came to us when a friend of a friend passed away and Priscilla needed a new home. Her birthday is May 24, 2001. Since joining our crew in July, 2002, she has learned to steal underwear and grab food off the table. In exchange, she has taught the others to howl.

In memoriam... bassets have an average lifespan of 10 years, several of ours have gone on to "doggie heaven."
